Introduce and reinforce shape identification, texture discrimination, spatial relationships and pattern sequencing.

The six basic shapes used are:

Circle
Square
Rectangle
Triangle
Wavy Line
Oval

Distinctive bold, raised outlines permit tracing the shapes by touch. Coloring or gluing textures inside the raised "bumper-borders" adds reinforcement to shape identification and spatial relationships (next to, right-left, above-below, large-small). The cards provide excellent small muscle exercise as well as an enjoyable craft activity.

6 cards "Which is different?" (shape). Select the one shape that does not match the other three.
2 cards "Track the page to find..." Explore the page. Find or identify each of the six shapes.

6 cards "What comes next?" (series). Shapes are presented in a repetitive sequence. Select which comes next.
